Change in trading currency

Change in trading currency

With effect from 2 September 2026, Baltic Classifieds Group PLC (“BCG” or the “Company”) changed the currency in which its ordinary shares are traded on the London Stock Exchange from pence sterling (GBp) to euro (EUR). BCG announced its intention to make this change on 12 August 2026, 26 August 2026 and 28 August 2026.

Frequently asked questions

WHY HAS BCG CHANGED ITS SHARE PRICE CURRENCY?

BCG generates all of its revenue, earnings and cash flows in euro and reports its financial results in euro. Aligning the trading currency of the Company’s shares with its reporting currency provides greater consistency between the Company’s share price and its financial reporting, eliminates the GBP/EUR translation effect on the quoted share price and simplifies the investment case for BCG.

DO I NEED TO TAKE ANY ACTION?

No action is required by shareholders.

DOES THIS CHANGE IMPACT THE NOMINAL VALUE OF MY SHARES OR MY VOTING RIGHTS?

No. The nominal value of each ordinary share remains £0.01 and the nominal currency remains pound sterling. There is no impact on voting rights, share capital, governance rights or the contractual terms of the shares.

WILL MY DIVIDENDS CHANGE?

No. Dividends will continue to be declared in euro and paid in either euro or pound sterling.

Shareholders wishing to receive dividends in pound sterling may make a currency election with the Company’s registrar, Equiniti, in the usual way, by following the guidance at https://balticclassifieds.com/dividends. Shareholders who have already made an election do not need to re-elect.

DO I NEED A EURO BANK ACCOUNT?

No, not unless you wish to receive your dividends directly in euro. If you wish to buy or sell shares, your broker, investment platform or custodian will be able to confirm the currency in which your trades will settle and any applicable foreign exchange arrangements following the change in trading currency to euro.

WILL BCG'S LONDON LISTING OR INDEX MEMBERSHIP BE AFFECTED?

No. The change does not affect BCG's listing on the London Stock Exchange in any other way and BCG will remain a member of the FTSE 250 Index.

WHERE DO I DIRECT FURTHER QUESTIONS?
